new post!  ok, so i'm back from Houston.  for those of you wishing to know more, go to my other xanga.  and if you're totally clueless about my other xanga (actually, it's my main xanga now), it's www.xanga.com/monsterhook

anyways, classes today were no fun.  i started falling asleep in calculus, and then i had a super simple chemistry test.  this stuff was junior high level basically.  seriously.

anyways, i'll post later probably.  i have a class to go to.  hurray for english.  not really...anyways, how whoever "anonymous" was is happy, as well as everyone else.

oh, and if you want me to post again, you have to comment.  otherwise i'm ready to shut this down, or just let it go on it's own, especially if no one cares.  i'd rather stick with monsterhook.  anyways, bye

so...it's been a long time since i updated.  i'm not sure if i can keep up with so many xangas.  it's hard enough to do one.  any it's not even that great either.  anyways, just posting here to keep this thing alive.

well, for anyone wondering, yes, i still will update this xanga.  you might wonder why i'm upkeeping two xangas at once...well, i guess i don't even know why.  a lot of people still do not realize i have the new xanga (for all of you that are still oblivious to this, the new one's www.xanga.com/monsterhook).

now, to explain the cake picture and song.  so one day there i was, sitting there, being a bored, lazy bum.  so my good friend Jordan decided my site was bland and boring (which it was of course, b/c i was the one that had made it out to be what it was).  so after a few other attempts to find something good, she finally decided upon this one.  we both like Cake (the band).  and we both like chocolate.  plus it made since that if the song was by cake, why not have the background picture be of a cake?  thus the background and song are there to entertain and amuse anyone visiting the site, and to cause sporatic jolification and dancing.

thus is the story behind the song and picture.  anyways, until next time, i wish you all a great summer (as long as it lasts), and hope that you too might enjoy the lovely music to which you are probably dancing to as you read this.

so...i dare say, Chevelle is a bloody good band.  yep.  ok.  so...my iPod mini had a fatal meeting with  a sink full of water.  not fun.  however, the future is bright for it.  it did work a little bit today, and from all the research i did, everything points to the fact that it will be ok once the water drieds.  but i did use it for a good hour today.  it only stopped working b/c i laid it down and the little water inside kinda got back into everything.  hopefully it'll be fine soon though.  otherwise, i'll have to raise all $250 again.  either that, or i can try my luck at fixing it by using my extreme technical skills...wait, i don't have any of those.  lol.  last time i tried to fix something, it was a pair of headphones.  i ruined them.  but, i did figure out how to fix them, the only thing is i don't have a soldering iron on hand.  so that was no good.  they weren't too good anyways.  i got better ones.  so that solved that problem.  if all else fails, i can turn it over to Jared, get it fixed for a costly price, or i can always do what one site said to do.  one site mentioned the micro-processor of an iPod normally goes for the retail price of $497.95.  if i could sell it for that price, i could get an upgrade even.  lol.  but i doubt the price is still that high, seeing as that article is at least a year old, and everyone has had time to find that out.  but hey, all i know is if everything fails, i can sell the parts as spares for at least some money.  although i bet Jared could adapt it to something and use it to do something incredible.  he tends to do that these days.  last i knew he was making special cable to hook up all kinds of things to his computer.  ah Jared...one day he'll rule the world.  anyways, as far as other news goes, there's not much to say.  the house is much quieter without Teddy.  my parents are still in Canada too.  uh, i think that's pretty much it.

let's see...what to talk about?  well, for one, xanga is annoying the heck out of me with the comments and stuff not working.  but oh well.  i can live with it.  uh, 2 of our dogs got bit by a copperhead yesterday.  i had to kill the thing and disposed of it.  you see, it took us 2 hours to actually realize they had been bitten, since no one saw they had been bitten first hand.  i was just walking by one of them, and her face was twice as big as it was.  so we had to call my mom up in Canada (my parents are vacationing there for 1 1/2 weeks) and then Mr. Grimley to see what to do.  we just had to give them benadryl every 6 hours.  seemed easy, but when one of those medicine giving periods is 4 in the morning, it's harder than it looks.  so yeah, i stayed up til nearly 6 making sure the dogs were ok and that they got medicine.  that was fun.  had several amusing conversations on AIM at about 4ish too.  one unnamed person didn't know there were mountains in California...and then just the usual half-asleep convos are entertaining too.  and yes, the dogs survived and are perfectly ok this morning.  as far as life goes beyond that, nothing has been happening at all.  i still need to get good music.  maybe go cd shopping.  i did get a call from the LeTourneau basketball coach.  he didn't have much to say, just wanted a little info and stuff.  i think my legacy as a post has ended for good.  i'm officially too short.  point guard, here i come!  lol.  maybe not.  shooting guard maybe, assuming i even make the backup team.  i know if i can dunk it's a pretty good thing, so maybe i can just work on the vertical or something.  that'd be helpful.

ok, well, i have no more to say, unless oyu wish for me to continue on about pointless things.  it'd probably bore everyone to death.  of course, you'd have to read it to be bored to death, and not too many people read my xanga or any xangas any more anyways.  oh well.  hope everyone else is having a great summer.
